Our product portfolio includes test receivers, multistandard generators and analyzers for DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) ATSC (Advanced Television System Committee) and MPEG2 trasport streams as well as picture quality analyzers.
With Digital Video Quality Analyzer DVQ the assessment of picture quality becomes an objective realtime measurement method, as the picture quality assessment is very strongly influenced by the subjective perception of the human eye. The additional SDI input also allows evaluation of decompressed video data.

.The TV Test Transmitter R&S SFQ is a complete solution for testing digital TV links and receivers. The standards for DVB-T, DVB-S/DVB-DSNG, turbocoding, DVB-C, J.83B and ATSC / 8VSB are fully complied with. The SFQ features an internal BER measurement facility for all digital modulation modes (DVB-C, DVB-S, Turbocoder, DVB-T, J.83B) and ISDB-T / 8VSB options.
The MPEG2 Measurement Generator DVG is a universal generator for digital TV signals in the form of transport streams in line with the mpeg2 standard. The structure of these streams and the data reduction methods employed were developed and standardized by the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG), the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) project and the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC). As options Rohde & Schwarz provides a stream combiner software and the HDTV Sequences DV-HDTV, a comprehensive collection of high-resolution transport and elementary streams.
SDI, MPEG2 or ATM signals can be recorded with the R&S DVATM's versatile recorder and player tools.
